Wilesco D18

The condensed water is fed to a tank hidden behind the boiler house, causing the chimney to smoke realistically. The engine plate has been additionally fitted with a dynamo to supply the lamp at the rear, between the boiler and engine, with current. This model includes, water drainage cock, spring safety valve, steam whistle with chain, hand wheel shutoff valve for steam, steam jet oiler and handsome piston rods of galvanized die cast metal.

Wilesco steam turbine T90

Turbinecase and wheel are made of heat resistant plastic of high quality. There is a main difference between steam engines and turbines: turbines operate without any oil. All moving parts of the turbine are provided with a ball bearing so that an easy running is possible at very high speed (up to max. 9000rpm). Due to the integrated gear unit ratio (1:4), driving models can be used as well. As for all steam turbines, overheated steam is used, which is piped through a special nozzle on to the turbine wheel.

A model with many technical features.
1.) The feeding-water pump. The steam engine can now be filled with water while in operation.
2.) The condensed water is lead into a container which is hidden behind the fire box, therefore, the steam escapes lifelike through the chimney.
3.) A new smaller pressure gauge (26 mm in diameter) combined with a spring safety valve.
