#401- Hot Air Balloon - $19.95
Celebrate the Invention of Flight
It's huge, and it's really flys! Making this balloon takes only a couple of hours,
and the end result is a 5ft. tall aerostat that will soar far overhead on a cool day.
A couple of the family's hair dryers or a popcorn popper provide the heat
needed for liftoff.
Like the replica in the National Air and Space Museum, the Montgolfier in this
kit was adapted from the original balloon that flew over the French countryside in
1873. The two men aboard were the first humans ever to fly.
Kit includes: all balloon materials and a science & historical guide
